What we do

We use our extensive networks and contacts to find qualified candidates for positions at unions and non-profit organizations

 

    As needed we:

 

  • Through discussion with decision-makers develop a job description and identify political considerations bearing on where and how to conduct the search.

 

  • Develop a plan of action for the search including developing lists of people to call to learn about potential candidates, and other means of outreach as appropriate (email, use of internet sites, social media, and list serves, etc.)

 

  • Do intensive outreach to people identified above to discover potential candidates and other leads that might produce potential candidates.

 

  • Screen candidates and forward resumes to the organization. Organizations can choose to hear about all candidates encountered or only those that meet criteria.

 

  • Call potential candidates to encourage them to apply.

 

  • Perform background checks on candidates of interest to the organization.

 

 

  • Help develop and facilitate a process for interviewing and evaluating candidates.

 

  • When a candidate has been offered a job, help clarify expectations of the organization and the candidate to insure a good match that will last.
